The plan in Chiemgaustraße is the sixth new build based on the building system developed in 1999 for Allguth GmbH.
The design principle is based on a three-dimensional grid that unites different areas of use under a continuous roof, and can be arranged in 3 typologies parallel or perpendicular to the street. With a total length of 81.85 m, the roof of this new building stretches from the sound barrier in the east to the sales and restaurant area in the west. Here it optically merges into its rear wall and floor. On the street façade, this is thematically depicted by means of an illuminated circulating band that surrounds the sales area and extends into the tank field. The sales room, as a transparent volume, opens out to the tank field and street. The band of ETFE cushions running centrally through the roof, binds the tank field and the sales area together to form a coherent unit and provides the customer with a bright, comfortable and concise stay.
